Gordon McFarland comes originally from Moygashel, Co. Tyrone but now lives in Newtownards, Co. Down.  His artisitic ability was first recognised and rewarded at school. 

But it was not until 1987 that he started drawing professionally.  His fine line art drawings include scenes in the Ards Peninsula and more recently have included many other parts of Ireland.

He also takes commissions to draw people's homes, historic buildings, churches etc.  Drawings can be undertaken from old photographs or postcards.
